The data may be wrong

Data is retrieved from a public National Stock Exchange of India endpoint and passed through with minimal processing: rows are sorted, duplicates across overlapping requests are removed, columns are renamed to readable headings, and dates are written as spreadsheet date values. Beyond that, the numbers are whatever the source returned.

Which means, concretely:

Prices are not adjusted for corporate actions. Splits, bonus issues, and similar events leave large artificial gaps in the history. This trips people up constantly — see the guide on corporate actions.
Values are not independently verified. If the upstream source returns an error, a revision, or a gap, that is what you get.
Coverage is end-of-day only for the equity segment. There is no intraday, tick, order-book, derivatives, or corporate fundamentals data. See what this data covers.
Availability is not guaranteed. The upstream source can rate-limit, change, or go down at any time, and the tool will stop working when it does.

Treat the output as a convenient starting point for research, not as a system of record. For anything consequential — an audit, a filing, a trade, a dispute — verify against the exchange’s own official publications.
